FAA APPLICATION FOR PILOTS WHO NEED AN FAA MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

All FAA application forms must be completed on MedXpress online on the FAA website prior to coming for your appointment. You must have your FAA confirmation number with you. If MedXpress is not completed, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.

If you don't already have an account with the FAA, you will need to set it up and establish a password.

Please remember to bring the application confirmation number so we can open the file at the office.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR COLOR VISION TESTING:***

(FAA ONLY)

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025: Approved computer-based color vision screening tests will be required for pilot exams performed on or after 01/01/2025. Previous testing methods will no longer be accepted.

Pilots who already hold an FAA certificate will generally be exempt. Please note that color vision testing will ONLY be required for new applicants or applicants with certain medical conditions or taking certain medications that could affect color vision.

Because of the need for specialized approved color vision testing, there will be a $50 charge when testing is required.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO UK CERTIFICATE HOLDERS

We have been notified by the UK Authorities that our AME authorization will not be revalidated. Effective immediately, we are no longer be able to issue UK medical certificates for pilots and cabin crew. This decision by the CAA was based on logistical considerations regarding the number of UK certificates issued in this geographic area which did not meet their threshold to justify the required oversight. This decision is not a reflection of the quality of our services and all certificates that we issued will remain valid and retain their original expiration dates. Unfortunately, there is no other UK authorized AME in North America so all further exams will have to be conducted in the UK or in other locations listed on the UK website at:
